Two Wrexham based companies have joined forces to support a new start-up football enterprise – Moss Football Coaching.
Kitchen retailer, Bkoncepts of Regent Street, Wrexham and vehicle leasing broker V4B of Wrexham Industrial Estate have funded and supplied a sign written Citroën Dispatch HDI van, which will be used to transport coaching equipment to venues in and around the local area.
Bob Ruler, managing director at Bkoncepts commented, “We are absolutely delighted to be involved in Darren’s new venture and we all wish him well for the future. It’s a fantastic concept and we are extremely privileged to have access to such a great sporting facility in Wrexham and the surrounding area.”
Richard Boreham, managing director at V4B added: “Supplying first-class vehicles to our customers is our passion and it’s an absolute privilege to provide a local company such as Moss Football Coaching with a van. The Citroen Dispatch is not only practical and useful, it is a stylish addition to any business and we look forward to seeing it being used in the local area.”
Moss FC is the brainchild of local man Darren Moss, an ex-professional footballer who has played for teams including Chester, Shrewsbury Town and Crewe Alexandra together with playing internationally for Wales Under-21s.
Various training packages on offer include; 1 to1 Football Coaching, Elite Training for 2-4 players and Group Coaching sessions, catering for boys and girls of all ages from 5 years through to adult players looking to improve their footballing skills.
Darren Moss explained, “Moss FC is completely mobile and can visit individual clubs to coach an entire team or build custom made programmes for smaller groups if preferred.”
Darren continued, “We pride ourselves on creating an environment where all players feel comfortable and confident in their coaching sessions. Player satisfaction is our main objective. We take the time to understand the individual needs of each player. We will support them with every step of their journey, making sure that each individual participant progresses at a speed that is comfortable for them.”
Darren added, “I would like to thank everyone who has helped me achieve my dream. The support I have received from Bob Ruler, managing director of Bkoncepts has been invaluable. Together with heading up Moss FC, Darren coaches the Under 11s at Rhosddu United and is assistant manager at Gresford Athletic FC. With a keen eye for talent, Darren was a scout for Stoke City 16 – 23’s for 4 years and is currently a scout for Wales Youngsters.
Moss FC will hold regular coaching sessions at venues including Gresford FC, Ysgol Plas Coch and the indoor 4g pitch at IPC Gym, Gwersyllt, Wrexham.

Wrexham-based V4B is a vehicle leasing broker arranging personal and business lease vehicles on a nationwide basis. Founded in 1992 the company has been trading for 26 years.
