New Eco Responsible Range

Germany’s favourite kitchen furniture brand has launched VIDA, a door range which is made from recycled materials and features a textured, fabric-like finish.

The VIDA door range was launched in September 2018. Nolte Küchen are among the first kitchen manufacturers to bring to market a door front made from recycled materials, going yet one step further in addressing the highly topical subject of eco-friendly components.

The core material, a high-specification particle board, is produced from the quality wood of old furniture. Recycled paper is used for the surface, applied in a direct coating process to give it its attractively structured finish. Available in Cotton Papyrus and Cotton Quartz, VIDA is a great alternative to lacquered door fronts or wood decors. Versatile in combination with other finishes, it invites the use of accent colours making kitchen planning even more versatile.

Nolte Küchen has always taken ecological responsibility very seriously. The company recycles waste to heat the office buildings at their production site in Löhne and were the first German kitchen manufacturer to obtain both the FSC and PEFC certificate for sustainable forestry in 2010. From 2019, all components made from particle board, including fronts, panels and carcases, will contain even less formaldehyde in compliance with CARB2 regulations issued in the United States.
